I replaced the sensor and cleared the code (probably didn't need to clear the code, regretting that now). She's driven it over 500 miles since and no codes have come back, but the OBDII state is still "not ready," and it looks like Catalyst and … WebNo, they shouldn't fail you for monitors not being ready. They will still dyno the vehicle and sniff the tail pipe. Either way, it doesn't hurt to just get it tested. If you fail the next test is free. Emission monitors usually take a certain number of drive cycles before they go active (assuming no issues).
